It was the most beautiful day about 68. This is really a beautiful zoo. It is older but that did not detract from it at all. We had a blast and want to go again very soon.
"Maflingos" aka Flamingos

Gibbon monkeys and their baby

"Purple butt" aka Baboon. Yes, I told her she was not to say that again so now they are booboons.

Kamdyn and the zebras

The elephants were really fun. We stayed for a very long time. There was a baby that kept rolling two balls over to the adults. The adults kept shooing him away but he kept coming back again and again.

This was a gorgeous setting for the white tiger. like a rainforest with a waterfall. He sat there like he was posing.

This is a sunbear and Kamdyn loved that he was laying on his back catching some "zzzzz"

Near the back of the zoo it's built to look like a Texas town from the old West. The animal exhibts are broken up ito the different regions of Texas. There is a general store, cafe, candy shoppe, horse farm, and museum. They also have a petting zoo.
This is a longhorn calf that Kamdyn couldn't get enough of. I hope this is no indicator of her college choice in the future. Note her hand attempting to touch the calf. This went on for a good 15 minutes until I had to drag her away crying.

Princess Kamdyn in her royal carriage. It's actually an old mail stagecoach but she insisted it was a carriage for the ball.
